The Olympics Party is an activity as a culmination to a reading goal. The student with the most books read (or pages) wins the gold, the second most wins silver, and the third most wins bronze. The teacher can create plaques or ribbons, or even medallions on a necklace as awards. A platform can be created to mark the celebration, and a theme song can be chosen by the winner.
