It's hard to believe, but 4 out of 6 units are complete! This is going to be the most difficult unit benchmark yet, with abstract ideas, like theme or prediction, as well as ideas which require going back into the story, like compare/contrast or setting. As always, we will do the reading aspect of the test on Thursday, with the writing aspect on Friday. Please let me know if your child is expected to miss either day, and I will prepare them to take the test at another time.
